Welcome and thank you for your interest in joining Citizens Advice Waltham Forest as our new Chief Executive Officer.

Dear Applicant,

I am delighted that you are interested in becoming Chief Executive Officer for Citizens Advice Waltham Forest (CAWF).

The role of our Chief Executive Officer is a pivotal one. We are looking for someone who will drive CAWF forward to become a flourishing and dynamic organisation.

The Trustee Board has a vision for CAWF that we hope you will share:

• We want to improve our clients’ journey and make it easier to access our services in the way that suits them best.

• We want to ensure that we create a positive working environment where our staff’s wellbeing is promoted.

• We want to secure funding to maintain and develop our services so that we are here for years to come.

• And we want to increase our campaigns to improve the laws and services that affect everyone and raise our profile in the community.

But we also want to hear about your vision. Could you join us to explore new ways of working, to develop new partnerships and work with us in a collaborative and open way?

Waltham Forest is a fascinating area. Amongst the great wealth that surrounds us there are deep pockets of poverty and deprivation that need our help. We have a committed staff that works hard to deliver our services and meet our clients’ needs, but we make sure that we have some fun along the way.
